Today I am excited to introduce to you all our newest project, Hey! Health Matters! This project is a podcast between myself and Pete Serzant, who has been a member here since July and who is the voice of Kenosha's very own AM 1050 WLIP radio show.
Today we announced Episode 1, which is our introduction of the show and a preview of what's to come. We discuss our background - myself being in the health and fitness space for the past 12 years, and most notably owning Harbor Park Health and Fitness for the past 5. Needless to say I've learned a bit about both health and fitness. Pete on the other hand has recently just started his journey and has questions, a lot of them. The goal of the show, if we do it right, will be to answer the many many questions that Pete and so many others struggle with.
Pete and I have an interesting dynamic in that we both were over 300lbs at one point in each of our lives, and we've both successfully lost the excess weight. We discuss the biggest issues with health and wellness today, such as sugar and overeating, our sedentary lifestyles and other common misconceptions that people struggle with.
